  • No, there are no restrictions on transfer amounts.

  • Once the rate is discussed and agreed upon, it will be secured for one hour allowing you sufficient time to finalise the remaining transfer steps. If you opt for a forward contract, this rate can be guaranteed for up to 2 years.

    This structure is designed to protect your capital in the unlikely event of insolvency, whether at the payment institution level or within Global Gateway, ensuring your funds remain secure and appropriately safeguarded.


    Your funds remain safeguarded while they are held within your account. Once a transfer has been completed to your chosen beneficiary, those funds are no longer subject to safeguarding protections.
